Hi, What type of materials are generally used to cover TFT LCD displays in=20 products? And possibly still allow use of a touch screen? For LED displays, I generally use a thin < 1mm acrylic piece over the=20 LEDs, which when color-matched to the LEDs will hide the electronics=20 nicely yet not dim the LED brightness noticeably. With multicolor LEDs,=20 I've found that light bronze seems to be a good compromise between=20 hiding the internal electronics, and display brightness. But it does=20 take away some brightness. For TFT's, I've noticed that the bronze acrylic does attenuate the=20 brightness noticeably. I'm not sure I want to leave the screen exposed,=20 and in cases where the inside of the bezel is larger than the LCD=20 display, I will definitely need need some type of cover material. Any=20 ideas on what's typically used here?
