Think of the dark spots you see on the highway.  They always signal a bump =
in the road.  That drop of oil hung there for a while, but the bounce trigg=
ers falling of drops here more than elsewhere on the road.=20
Drops still fall randomly elsewhere, but you don't much notice them except =
as a darkening toward the center of the lane.
