Even though it's being shipped from the US, it's probably a Chinese seller = using an automatic translation from Alibaba. The seller may have said "red = button" and it came out "orange tag". A customer from a different country w= ill see a description automatically translated into his language. I bought some panel mount rotary encoders, the description was "Plum handle= 20mm rotary encoder coding switch / EC11 / digital potentiometer with swit= ch five feet" "Plum handle" appears to be their description of a splined split shaft. "Fi= ve feet" is five terminals. The compressor switch has four large ports that are shared and one small pr= essure unload port. On the compressor I have, one of the large ports is unu= sed and has a plug in it. The other ports are used for output, tank, and ga= uge. Subject: Re: [EE] Electric air compressor power switch It looks like a good replacement. hope fully it will work. Not to be negative here but what raises a caution flag for me, What is the orange tag all about? Hopefully just a name. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
