I bought an oven from B&Q which advertised a capacity of 59 litres with 49= =20 "usable litres" When I did the measurements based on their instructions and which parts of= =20 the oven I could and couldn't use, I ended up with 40 litres of usable=20 volume. This was being quite generous with measurements as well.=20 Measurements were taken touching the sides, element and back fan of the ove= n=20 and the glass door so in reality there would be even less. I contacted their Head Office and DEFRA and the reply was basically "tough = -=20 this is the way we've always done it" Dom -----Original Message-----=20 From: IVP Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2016 11:32 PM To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. Re-iterating that the largest cylindrical container (and therefore biggest thing you can cook) you can get in this 23L oven is 14L and the largest rectangular one is 9L (30cm diagonal by 20cm high) Commerce Commission replied today, not interested Meh Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
