My first HP calculator at work was the HP-35. that was in 1972. It was abou= t $300. Before that, I had used a desktop calculator HP9800 with a mag strip to sto= re the programs while in College (Engineering). I remember that HP exchanged our HP-35 because it had a firmware error that= was giving wrong result when doing log10(2.02) while log10(2.01999999) was correct.
