Hi all, If anyone is interested the emulator for HP calculators has been upgraded. It now does models for HP35, 45, 55, 65, 67, 70, 80, 21, 22, 25, 27 and 29C= .. The emulation of the HP67 was quite complex because its card reader is controlled by the calculators own microcode. It also has more memory and the PIC was changed to a 16F1519 to cope. The circuit board as presented previously still works, however the 29C was one of the first with CMOS chips. HP took advantage of the low power requirements, as the power switch didn't actually turn the calculator off and the calculator could "remember" the stored program and the state it was in. The display was turned off, but the code still executed in a different loop. A new PCB will be available soon to enable this feature.
