I got another email today from Mel. All credit to Mel, he/she hasn't
just walked away

Indeed it does. And so now the microwave is bigger than the label ?

My 8238 23L though unfortunately measures 305 x 325 x 201, which
is 19.9 litres (83% of 24L). Even being charitable and including the
unuseable recesses adds less than a litre (88% of 24L)

No idea where they get 221mm from. I shall ask. That misinformation
alone inflates their version of the capacity by 2 litres

As you mention, these overstatements are not restricted to just the one
I happened to buy
