I ran into trouble with bandgap settings on PIC12F629, had to give up on using BODEN in a project running at 3.0V from a Li coin cell. The factory BG1:BG0 was b'01'. I set it so and it would trip at or very near 3.0V. Ther= e is no trace of bandgap bit voltage equivalents in the datasheet or in the memory programming pdf. How unsafe is it to set the BG1:BG0 to the lowest level (b'00') in despite of the manuals and ds saying they have to be set t= o the factory calibrated values. I did use 12f675 like this before (a few years ago) and the problem did not occur also at 3.0V from a Li cell. Has anyone else dealt with this please? --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
