That's my problem, too many options. I need to thin the herd. This is a personal project, so economy is important, but sucky performance is worse. I can control how the videos are encoded, so that's to my advantage. Basically I'm looking for things like "stay away from these, they sucked" or "I used these and they worked well". I'd just use my personal tab, but it's expensive, delicate, and doesn't like high voltage much.
