I frequently use an android tablet for video (anime). The question is, what sort of video? Resolution? Encoding? And what do you consider "low-cost"? How soon do you need them? Do you need local availability, or are you OK with mail order? What sort of screen size do you want -- for a trade show, I'll assume that bigger is better. Also, video playback software can make a big difference. For Android, go with mxplayer. FLV files (think Youtube) are easy for any low-power CPU. AVI, MP4, and MKV take more processing power. This is a 10" tablet with 1024 x 600 display (so-so) and quad-core A33 processor (so-so), but it's only $70. Would that be good enough? http://www.microcenter.com/product/447218/A1045_Tablet_-_Black I've bought the 7" version for gifts for nieces, and they worked OK. http://www.microcenter.com/product/448361/A741_Tablet_-_Black (I'm lucky enough to have a retail store down the road my my work). Feel free to ask questions. Bill On Fri, May 6, 2016 at 9:19 PM, David VanHorn wrote: > I need a couple of tablets for pictures and videos at a trade show. Low > cost is important.
