My first hard disk was a MFM or RLL 10MB which I bought so I no longer=20
had to swap floppies so much.
The drive cost 1000 guilders and did not work for storage. I spent hours=20
printing out meters of diagnostics
on a dot matrix printer to prove to the shop that the disk was crap.=20
Eventually the drive was replaced and to
my delight the fresh disk had a free copy of all the Norton utilities on it=
