.. This is a cinema closed caption system. The company I work for
demonstrated a similar system that used an LCD-based projector with the
polarizer removed. A "silver screen" (maintains polarization) was placed
below the movie screen. A dim green bar was visible to those without
polarized glasses. Those with polarized glasses saw the caption text.
