I'm tinkering with a Newhaven 2.4" TFT LCD display and notice that as I=20 move up/down and the viewing angle changes, that the colours change=20 also. So what's orange in the middle is red when I'm looking down on it=20 (prob only 10 - 20 deg angle), and appears yellow when I'm looking up at=20 it from a similar angle. There is no shift when I move side-to-side. Big concern is that I will be using this sideways (landscape), so the=20 colour shift will be from side-to-side, which will be an issue. I'm=20 using a portrait-mode LCD as I want the cable coming out of one of the=20 short sides. Anyone know if there's a way to prevent or reduce that effect? Or=20 anyone have a link to a 2.4" or 2.6" high-brightness LCD that will not=20 do this? How about OLEDs? Cheers. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
