In general this happens frequently, and the best method I've found to
compensate is to use the negative feedback to offset the stability of
the writing process.

The communication path is fraught.  The writing process picks tokens
from a store, using an algorithm of local association.  The reading
process picks random tokens from the message, and associates with
stored tokens using a different algorithm and different local
associations.

As a result, transmission of semantic meaning is difficult.
