I use Zim (free) for note taking and cell phone or tablet for pictures.=20
My note3 phone will record a screen full of errors or a project in steps.
Zim will save to HTML  as well as other formats so I can easily share=20
online.  There a couple of variants (Markup & markdown) that may have=20
some advantages or complement Zim.
Too old you think? I am 76 in April & taking the time to learn new tools=20
is more important than ever....
