I have a very nice, hand made clipboard. It holds a legal pad that
doubles as a mouse pad.
Most pages are not ripped out, simply turned. There is always a supply
to replenish.
Using it as a mouse pad keeps it close at hand. Forcing myself to no
more than one page of notes at a time helps me to reduce complex
problems into simpler ones.
I keep all the old ones, though I can't recall ever going back through
them for anything.
If I were truly organized I'd have the start and end date, and perhaps
the projects touched during that time. I am not that organized.
