chroot done, note that running the mla linux installer mla*.run as root
will modify links under /etc/.mplab/ . If that's not what you want, back up
that directory before running mla*.run as root and then recover it as neede=
d.
This was found when running the installer as "root" in a clean chroot env.
So far, nothing else changed. This time.

WHEN will people stop asking installers to run as root? We can chroot as mu=
ch=20
as you like, but we prefer not to? Thanks.
