I just published the latest updates to my SimpleRTOS

The most important feature is that now it saves and restores the FPU
context of PIC32MZxxxEFxxx.
I implemented the "lazy" save and restore, so I expect it to be much
faster to switch tasks compared to FreeRTOS.

This version is not well tested yet and some of the other ports (PIC18F,
PIC24/dsPIC and ARM Cortex-M3) may be broken until I test everything.
