First off, I'm sorry to wake the list up. Haven't seen anything for a=20 few days. I'm throwing this in [EE] because I'm having troubles with=20 this IC, not the PIC32MX driving it. Does anybody on the list have any experience with this chip? The I2C comms, keys and LEDs all work fine. My questions are about the=20 self-addressing mode. I have qty. 2 of these controllers attached to=20 the PICs I2C1 port. First thing after power up you send the data=20 sequence ' 0x00, 0x2d' (or possibly '0x00,0x2d,0x00') and the=20 controllers are supposed to look at their key inputs for SEGF and/or=20 SEGG open/shorted to set an address of 0 to 3. I've tried multiple=20 combinations of addresses and self-addressing commands but both=20 controllers only respond to data sent to address 0, the default address.
