Of course a PIC32 has plenty of RAM to run CP/M, so you could get rid of the RAM chip. Is there a Z80 emulator for the PIC32? Years ago, I had a custom inventory control system running under CP/M and dBase II. When the Cromemco CP/M machine went away, I used z80mu to run it under DOS. I also ran assemblers for various MC6800 chips.
