Lucky you, I guess the weather news from GB is a tiny blip on US news chann=
els if it makes it at all.

The north of England has been hit by serious floods, up to 13 inches of rai=
n over 24 hours in some places.

Floods reached 7.9 meters above normal, breaching barriers built over the l=
ast 6 years which were designed for 7.5 meter 100 year floods.

They have had the rain, but there is a large area that won't be doing any w=
ork for a significant time.
