Time will tell... The $9 computer kickstarter was widely criticized. There were claims that it was vaporware (though I've now read people claiming to have received theirs) There was also an inflated ($20) shipping cost and most of the useful peripherals were off-loaded onto overpriced accessory boards. (I've read that they've also adjusted the shipping price now, but it's still more than the product.)
