The best way is to be happy and enjoy it, that counts for far more than robot or tool set selection. Your level of comfort with the robot and other tools provides feedback into your happiness. I've used a Sparkfun RedBot, with a Bluetooth serial adapter, with a block programming environment (Turtle Blocks) on a group of eight children's laptops. The kids wrote their block code, and took turns testing it. The robot has three downward facing reflectance sensors, two geared non-stepper motors, and I added a fourth forward facing 30cm distance sensor. I think I did four sessions of one and a half hours over four weeks. Next time I do this, I'd like to use a robot with stepping motors or a rotation counter, so that positioning is more reproducible. --=20 James Cameron http://quozl.linux.org.au/ --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
