Yeah

Their whole spiel sounds like BS made up to justify "a cool idea".
You can bet there are people around who would buy one just to film
themselves destroying other people's USB ports. And they'd laugh
and laugh and post it on YouTube.

When you make it so easy, that's what's going to happen

If you want to take advantage of one of their "cool ideas" then make
your own USB Killer stickers instead of giving them $20 towards
a pretty much pointless project
