Before seeing the picture I'd have thought a 16x2 (or 2x16) because
of the 0605BJB*0216

but it does look more like a graphic. For a PSU maybe it's custom,
eg like a DMM display with annunciators or perhaps bars

When faced with an unknown LCD I've found limiting supply to a
few mA helps when poking around trying to find Vcc and Vss for
example. When you get it powered you might be able to see what
graphics it has and try Google images for something similar

Even if you find the supply pins though that leaves 3 data lines and
the protocol
