Sun sights + HO 249 is just arithmetic. Even I can do it. :) Star sight reductions are a little harder; you have to learn to recognize the navigator's stars. OTOH if your cup of tea is Capt. Slocum's (Lunar Distances and an alarm clock) it's not so easy...
