Joe and et al, I checked my wiring more times than I can keep track of. I am using=20 RA0 to RA2 for the three control lines. I have not connected to RE0, Pin=20 1 and Joe you are correct that RA4 is open collector but RA0 is supposed=20 to able to source and sink current. I have checked the datasheet several=20 times just to make sure. I have been thinking about connecting the r/s=20 line to a different pin. I wish I had another 4550 to test. But I only=20 have the one. I also wish I had an ICD instead of just the PICKit2. Thanks, rich!
