Hi Neil, The courses do look different, but I'm sure either one will be helpful. You= r=20 Mikromedia PIC32MX4 board seems to use mostly identical LCD connections as= =20 the newer Mikromedia for PIC32 board, just the backlight LED is driven from= a=20 different pin. I imagine it's the same size (2.83") and so very likely the = same part. The graphics workshop included a Harmony BSP (Board Support) file specifica= lly=20 made for the Mikromedia PIC32 board to make things easier in the labs. It m= ay not=20 be too hard to modify it and get your LCD going, on the other hand it might= be :-) Will send you a link to notes/lab excercises etc in case you want to go dow= n that=20 path, or just compare.
