So I guess you have found the NOP() function now.

Just put 3-4 around your commands that manipulates the
RAx pins and you should be safe in that regard at least.

     I will do that. I have spent many hours trying to figure this out
before I posted this on the PICList. The PICList is always a resource of
last resort. I am very frustrated and lost at this point. My self esteem is
in the garbage can at this point.
