Do you really need conductive adhesive if you're going to be soldering on c= omponents? If not then Tiffany style stained glass is made with copper tape and then s= oldered, perhaps that stuff will do? If you websearch for "Tiffany tape" you'll find out, like I just did, tha= t some young lady has been indiscrete with a video recorder... so best to s= earch for "copper tiffany tape" ;)=20 Kind Regards, Robin Bussell, Research and Development Engineer, Excelerate Technology=20 Email: robinb@excelerate.info Mob +44(0) 7760164551 Tel +44(0) 845 658 5747 Fax: +44(0) 870 0516792 Website: www.excelerate.info Offices in - Cardiff (Wales HQ), Melbourne, Perth ,Doha, Dubai and Washingt= on DC -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of= Art Sent: 12 October 2015 09:35 To: piclist@mit.edu Subject: [OT] copper tape for pcb prototyping I'd like to try some copper tape with conductive adhesive for making SMT pr= ototype PCB's. It's a fairly simple circuit. I looked on that auction website, and can only find 'shielding tape'.=20 But, it is rated for only 120 degrees F I'm sure this is NG for sticking to= anything that needs to be soldered. Does anyone know where I can get copper foil tape with conductive adhesive = that is rated for soldering? I don't want much, just need to try it before = stocking up.
