With all due respect, the Logitech M510 is state of the art as far as=20 battery power in concerned. They do have one model that is uses slightly=20 less battery power, but it is not guaranteed to run in Linux. To the best of my knowledge, none of the other mouse OEM's have better=20 or equal power consumption. I won't be buying another mouse anytime soon. My OLD Microsoft Mouse is still running after almost 20 years, hopefully=20 the new Logitech mouse runs half as long. Regarding other vendors mouse products, my daughter just bought a=20 wireless mouse (not sure if it was a laser model) for her Apple laptop.=20 After being left on for 2 nights, it refuses to turn on unless she=20 changes the batteries. She was going to throw it in the trash, but I=20 talked her into giving it to me to play with.
