Problem with Lenovo is that they placed their spy program in the BIOS, so even if you enforce a complete HD format, remove all partitions, even if you put a new partition table with MBR and all, you will still get that spy software at the end your brand new Windows install. This was not implemented (or just partly) on the drivers, it was placed in the BIOS to make sure they own your device no matter what. I mean, sure, usage data and it is important to them. So ask me first if I want to participate or not and if not, it means not... Apple, Google, Oracle, everyone is doing similar things with my consent and with the ability to opt out. If they do without it, they will lose my trust just as Lenovo did...And trust is the hardest to win back -- for the next 10 years or so I will not buy Lenovo products, that is for sure.
