To whomever this is, I appreciate finding out about the Lenovo computers. I don't plan=20 on ever buying one but now that I know about this I will look out for it=20 if I should happen to acquire one or if I work on one for a friend. I=20 would strongly recommend removing the existing partition or partitions=20 and then redoing the whole hard drive with a new OS. MS only collects=20 info about how the system is running. They do not know who owns it or=20 where the computer is located. Even when you register your copy of=20 Windows they don't hook the two databases together. It sounds like=20 Lenovo is not so nice but what can you expect from the Chinese. It makes=20 sense that they are spying on us but remember this is mandated by their=20 government and I don't believe that Lenovo would do this on their own. Thanks, rich!
