Not sure what do you mean by supplier app? No OS is running on the device? Or that you do not want a companion iPhone to let your app running on the watch? This latter one is done by the new WatchOS 2, you can now have a native app running on the watch itself, no iPhone is needed to run an app on it (if it was written as such).
