Hi all, Alternate plan to the bluetooth project -- anyone have a recommendation=20 for a small simple (and low-cost) short-range RF receiver? It would=20 need to operate very low power, and detect a simple code (say 16-bit)=20 from a transmitter. I can toss a small PIC10F behind it to do the=20 decoding if it does not have the capability. I've considered an rfPIC, but volume pricing is only down to US$2.xx,=20 and I'm hoping to find something much lower cost. Since I can find=20 433Mhz receivers (assembled circuit on a PCB with the supporting=20 jellybean components for $2.95 retail), perhaps I can hope for under $1=20 for the receiver?
