As far I remember, 10 years ago or so it was french project which goal was to transfer wireless 100W at 10Km. They end with success using a 5GHz beam. However, anything is passing energy through or around our bodies is dangerous. As a simple guidance the level of EM radiation (300MHz-3GHz) allowed by standards is 5 time higher in US than in Russia (ex soviet union) and 4 time higher than in the Europe. So I guess you will have soon such wireless charging devices if someone will not wake up. best luck, Vasile On Thu, Jul 30, 2015 at 2:31 AM, V G wrote: > I may be wrong, but I feel dirty for bringing this filth onto the piclist= .. > > What do you all think of this "wireless charging technology"? > > http://www.businessinsider.com/startup-ubeams-10-million-debate-2014-11 > http://fortune.com/2014/12/30/meredith-perry-ubeam/ > > So many things about these sensationalist writings seem off.
