Yes, APC is good when you need it NOW. And for commercial jobs, their=20 cost structure is reasonable, considering the turn-around time. For=20 hobby jobs, not so much. My experience with DirtyPCBs is as follows: 1. 5x5 cm, no expedite fee, job cost US$14; order to receive time was 19=20 days 2. 5x5 cm, US$14 expedite, job cost total US$33; order to receive time=20 was 11 days 3. 10x10 cm, US$15 expedite, job cost total US$40; order to receive time=20 was 8 days You probably get cheaper shipping from APC I'm guessing since you nearly=20 local to them; to the US, it's FEDEX overnight at approx US$30. My job=20 number 3 above would have been nearly US$300 via APC so we saved some=20 money with DirtyPCBs. It was a company order as opposed to hobby but we=20 had 2 months time so it was worth a try. My second job above was a little 1"x2" PIC 44 pin TQFP dev bd. for=20 general purpose fun although the first two assembled got used at work=20 for test fixtures. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
