Posting under [PIC] so everyone gets it. I'm an admin so it's OK. No, I'm not shutting off topic tags :-) On two occasions recently, users posted messages with no topic tag, and immediately sent corrected messages to the list. A tiny mistake, for sure, no biggie. Except we now have multiple threads running in two topic channels, because other users reply to the untagged threads. Please, please, look at the list of new messages before replying. For the topic tag system to work, we ALL need to participate. Every message needs a tag. The only reply you should make to an untagged post is "Hey, you made an untagged post. Please repost it with the correct tag". Don't add a tag to an untagged post unless you are the original owner of the message. Again, this is no big deal, but if everybody tries to make to make it work, little slipups will remain little. Just for the department of redundancy department: 1. Look at the list of new messages before replying. 2. Don't hold a discussion in an untagged thread. 3. If you see an untagged post, reply to it "Hey, please add a tag to your message". And it goes without saying, if you start new a thread, please make sure it has a topic tag before posting.=20 Thanks!
