What you said above is a clear indication of a problem. I suspect=20 that the battery charge circuit is malfunctioning. As was suggested by someone else, putting a simple timer on the=20 charger power cord might be the most expedient way to fix the=20 problem. Try to guestimate how much time the charger needs to be=20 powered for, then set the timer accordingly. I'd start out by having the charger run for perhaps 30 minutes out of=20 every 12 to 24 hours. Monitor the battery state-of-charge indicator on the phone over a=20 several day period. Change the timer settings according to what you see. I'm thinking that allowing the phone to discharge to somewhere around=20 the 50% mark before recharging should give you good results. Most smart-phones and their batteries are designed to be charged=20 daily and most of the batteries that I've worked with are good for=20 several years. dwayne --=20 Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax www.trinity-electronics.com Custom Electronics Design and Manufacturing --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
