G'day John, Yes, that's one way to do it, great if you'd like to go all analog and keep your skills in that domain current. ;-) But I use an Allegro ACS714 current sensor, powered from the micro, which gives you an analog output in the 5V range. Zero current is represented by half of Vcc.
