Short: AC plug / socket pin designations wanted for NEP microinverter

A friend purchased a 1-off NEP BDM-300 grid-tied solar microinverter to
'play'.
(I would have bought it at the price but he saw it first).

The NEP inverters have a custom or unusual connector.
He'd like to know their assignment of the L1 and L2 pins - phase and
neutral in another world, maybe.
This may not matter they may be interchangeable) or may for reasons
inobvious.

There are many wiring diagrams and even pictures of the plugs and sockets
but I've not found any wiring details.
