*** RESEND ***. Fixed the category tag. All, Some new developments. I have found by experimentation that the LCD is a 20 line by 16 character per line=20 display. Actually, it's two 10 line by 16 character per line displays in one panel. Effectively, a dual=20 scan display. Further, it uses a 6x8 character space with a 5x7 font, which means the pixel resolution is 96 x 80 per half, or 96 x 160 for the whole display.=20 =20 The backlight is a blue green color, and very subtle. It is enough to allow reading the display in the dark though. The voltage going to the backlight when active is about 32VAC.=20 Apparently, this board was originally part of some sort of medical device. Of the two I am looking at, one of them reads in English, the other in Spanish. I'll pass on more as I get it.
