Yes, vertical is needed, and that looks like the one I want, but
the 'B' option is only 0.4VA, not the 5A of other contact plates.
Even 2A would do. The pdf (I'm so fed up reading switch pdfs)
offers this, which I shall follow up with C&K

I had a look at nz.element14 and found the 1AMD4T2B4M7RE
and 1MD4T2B4M7RE. Both of which are ... No Longer Stocked.
In fact uk.farnell has many "No Longer Stocked" switches that
might have been candidates

(pssst, take them out of the ******* catalogue then)

Searching the NZ site now with E205MD9AV2BE returns no result
