Yes, I was thinking that's the way it works. However, I don't like any wireless spot at least at 2 meters around me when working. Mostly when the board I'm working at has a lot of RF. Someday I'll try to see if this combination works indeed in real time. I saw the same philosophy on some measuring devices as http://redpitaya.com= /, it needs ethernet every time you have to load the firmware. When use it as scope, you have to connect it with a wireless router and to watch at the traces on a wireless tablet. Trust me, it can't be the right way for a lab.
