Set up a web server and point it to the collection of datasheets. On a Linux server I would use Apache. (If your local area network is private, nothing more to do. If your network is wide open to the world, with routable IP, configure the web server to block non-local requests to the collection. Else the spiders will come in and index your stash.) > Can you expand on you web browser method? Open your new web server using a browser. The collection should be shown. Scroll, tap on a datasheet and a PDF viewer should start. I also have a stylesheet and file indexing configuration loaded on the web server that makes the collection easier to browse and tap on with a tablet; no need to zoom the view. It is Apaxy by @adamwhitcroft. If I had too many datasheets, I'd index them with server side software which provides a search feature. I've not spent time on that yet. --=20 James Cameron http://quozl.linux.org.au/ --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
