You can buy a W520 at $500 on the Ebay which is an excellent price for a
good  I7, 8G RAM and a 96GPU video card with 2G RAM . I just bought one.
But you cannot buy a W700 without around $1200.

So, buying another TFT screen seems the cheapest way...
