Keep in mind though that pin mapping is much more flexible for the PIC24 pa=
rts=20
than for the PIC32 parts. The PIC24 I have used can map almost any function=
 to=20
any PPS pin but the PIC32 works with groups of specific PPS pins and functi=
ons.

Perhaps you could use the PIC24FJxxxDA chips which has built in graphics=20
controller and use the output streams, possibly with some driver circuit, t=
o=20
drive your modules.
