A not-insignificant percentage of the population wishes to have nothing to do with them (the Salvation Army has already made it clear that the feeling is mutual). If you want a different way to support Nepal, have a meal at a Nepalese restaurant and ask your server how to help. Chances are good someone there sends money to family back home and will know the best way to do it.
