FWIW, historically the Salvation Army has a sterling reputation in regard

to funds donated for relief going where the donors intended - The SA has

no corporate jets, no 6-figure salaries, & no conventions in chi-chi resort=
s.

No doubt some members are unworthy of their calling, but the organization

is honest.
