I've been itching to get the ESP8266 up on MQTT to see what it can do. I'd love to see how well the ESP would work with a solar setup. Probably a bit power hungry but I can dream. :-) I'm playing around with different way to set/get data to/from MQTT. It's a bit hard to figure out what's best. I'm testing MQTT on the interwebs and the intrawebs. ;-) I have the D3 tree with web sockets and I'll write a device driver for Homeseer 3 later. I've got a ton of weather related Node-red stuff passing through MQTT (where little data becomes big data). Yes I have too much Home Automation. :-) --=20 Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry ncherry@linuxha.com http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog Author of: Linux Smart Homes For Dummies --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
